An exciting new phase
The OWNSTABLE platform is currently in the shadow trial phase and will move into the live trial period in December of this year.
The live trial marks an exciting transition as participants begin to use the OWNSTABLE platform (independently of our development team), to manage their services and interactions. The live trial is designed to validate platform functionality, strengthen user experience and ensure OWNSTABLE is ready for broader adoption.
Live Trial - (coming soon)
This trial is similar to the shadow trial, with one key difference: Trainers, Service Providers, and Owners will begin using the OWNSTABLE platform directly to manage booking requests, service delivery, and communications. By this stage, the development team will have had the opportunity to iron out any issues that arose during the shadow trial, improving and preparing the platform for this next phase.
Live trial participants will experience OWNSTABLE first-hand and provide feedback based on their direct interaction with the software. This exposure will test the ease of use of OWNSTABLE and allow participants to contribute to refining the software further.
No financial transactions will take place, and the records for the horse and Service Provider are not touched.
Trainers
During the live trial, Trainers will be asked to directly interact with the OWNSTABLE platform. You will enter all tasks and activities for a live trial horse using the OWNSTABLE software (in parallel with your existing processes).
To assist with making the live trial a success, we would appreciate your help with capturing all activities that occur with a live trial horse.
Enter actions: Each time a live trial horse requires an interaction or activity (eg. transport, vet visit, physio, farrier, or anything else), simply request this action of a Service Provider within the OWNSTABLE platform. Once the service has been conducted and the Service Provider confirms completion, you can validate the service using OWNSTABLE.
Share multimedia: Take photos and videos of the live trial horse in as many settings and as often as possible, then upload them into the OWNSTABLE platform.
Like the shadow trial, this next step will be testing some of the key functions of OWNSTABLE.
For example, requesting services for a live trial horse, reviewing and validating service reports from Service Providers, providing horse status updates, sharing multimedia and communicating with Owners.
It is important to note that we will not be requesting any financial details, nor will we be conducting any billing or payments throughout the live trial.
Your input will prove invaluable in ensuring our process flow and usability supports Trainer and Service Providers workflows effectively, whilst providing a rich and engaging experience for Owners at the same time.
Service Providers
During the live trial, Service Providers will be asked to directly use the OWNSTABLE platform. You will enter all tasks and activities for a live trial horse using the OWNSTABLE software (in parallel with your existing processes).
To assist with making the live trial a success, we would appreciate your help with capturing all activities that occur with a live trial horse.
Enter actions: Each time you are requested to provide a service for a live trial horse (eg. transport, vet visit, medication, farrier, or anything else), simply accept the service request from the Trainer within the OWNSTABLE platform. Once the service is complete, use OWNSTABLE to confirm that the service has been delivered.
Share multimedia: Take photos and videos of a live trial horse before, during or after the service, then upload them into the OWNSTABLE platform.
Throughout this phase, we will be testing some of the key functions of OWNSTABLE, including submitting service reports, invoice generation, sharing multimedia* and communicating with Owners*.
It is important to note that we will not be requesting any financial details, nor will we be conducting any billing or payments throughout the live trial.
Your input will prove invaluable in ensuring our process flow and usability supports Service Provider and Trainer workflows effectively, while providing a clear and engaging experience for Owners.

Owners
During the live trial, Owners will use the OWNSTABLE platform directly to view a timeline of activities and media related to their horse.
To assist with the trial process, we encourage Owners to:
Stay informed: Use OWNSTABLE to view service reports, multimedia, invoices and your Owner Statement at any time.
Keep in touch: Share regular feedback on the information you can view in OWNSTABLE, the format it is presented in, what you like and what could be improved.
It is important to note that we will not be requesting any financial details, nor will we be conducting any billing or payments throughout the live trial.
Your participation will provide invaluable insights into the Owner experience and help us refine OWNSTABLE to be as clear, engaging and user-friendly as possible.
OWNSTABLE live trial

The OWNSTABLE live trial is a way of engaging our stakeholders to test the software directly using real-world data and events.

We carry out a live trial by working with a number of parties who we think will use the software in the future.
We ask trial participants to request services or confirm delivery of services using the OWNSTABLE platform (eg. a vet tending to a horse).
The live trial is carried out in parallel to the standard processes of a Trainer or Service Provider and does not disrupt any existing systems in place.

The OWNSTABLE live trial will commence in December and run long enough to put our key features to the test (including a month end), so that we can observe how the platform performs across a full cycle.
